More important to find targeted traffic that wants what you have. I see all the time...

One big rule of thumb is that if there are know products being sold in the niche it is normally not profitable..

I would wonder how many searches are done for the niche and how many paid search...

Most spammers use automated systems... I believe to get signups you need fewer questions... People in general will not be bothered to fill out a ton of questions... However if you look at the average...

Good advice I get more sales from pinning than Facebook anyday.

A more targeted niche like "rare stone pendants" or something along those lines will set you apart from the big discount stores....
