I agree to Neil for most of the part but my opinion differs when it comes to Adgroups and Keywords. I suggest going for lesser keywords per adgroup (say 5 very closely related keywords per adgroup)....

Having affiliates promote your site would be the best traffic method.

Promoting your own product is one thing, but having other people recommend it to their audience is much better imo.
