If you found EMD then you can create a site on that, it works, recently you got EMD penalization but those websites were penalized which were doing spam, less quality, black hat work.

I think you better add it to your current site . As the current page will get some link juice from home page and other relevant internal pages it will have good authority and then better theme...

Its not a good idea to create a new domain for every other keyword. Its better to have the same website as you will get benefit ( Google trusts more older sites ).

If the nice is well worth it, you should do both. This way, you have higher chances of getting more traffic from Google and you have also diversified your risks.

You will probably get a few different views on this question. But I usually try to put one niche per website. Don't worry about getting an EMD, last year google removed any advantage to having one....
