I would really stick with the .com or .net and in som cases even .org domains. They are commonly known and tend to rank faster than other domains. I would even consider using hyphens before a .co...

These days content is King on Google, make sure that G don´t see your content as duplicates. I would make sure that the blog get´s the content credit. Link wheels used to work well, but they are not...

You should post images, and not text. They get 3 times more likes and chances are much higher that people will like or even tag your photos. You may have text in your photos and if you combine it...
