Build something.. you have to start somewhere. Paying for ads always works of course, just have to target the customer and figure out what works best for you.

i get great results using solo ads and often make my money back right off the bat and often make money too

also i use my personal blog to generate lots of free traffic

a blog does take time to...

For me it is making sure the people who come to my site have great reasons to come back and tell their friends. Then I send an occasional email to make sure they know about new reasons to come back....

Everyone has their preference I think and it would also depend on your niche. Guest writing can be very successful and a few articles could be certainly worth while.
