Go to Fantastico and you'll see that you have two options for forums: PHP and SMF

Easy to set up - but I can't give you any other input as I've never had need to...

It's pretty straight forward following the instructions on the Paypal website. Just log-in and click on Merchant Services and then the link sell multiple items and follow the steps.
