If you have 8000 followers and very few re-pins, then most likely your images aren't very good.
You want to be sure you pin images that are related to your Pinterest boards and your blog niche....

Don't get paid by CC, this is the worst way to receive payments for sites. You would need a merchant account or similar to accept CC.
Try to use Escrow if you can. Paypal isn't particularly safe...
