I don't think AdSense would do well on your type of site. But, you have the advantage of knowing exactly what your visitors are interested in. Why not place advertising for affiliate programs/CPA...

Depends on a lot of factors, including niche, layout, what the searcher is looking for etc... But lets hazzard a guess with some averages.

500 hits a day at 10% CTR = 50 clicks hits a day.

While i am not trying to be a pro here but i will want to talk from experience.

500 Unique Visitors daily amounts to 15, 000 visitors monthly. Normally, 3, 000 visitors should give you atleast...

Google webmaster tools is in no way a reliable source for backlink checking. They will not show the right number of backlinks.

Backlinkwatch.com is a tool that I use and is a pretty reliable...
