I think he means private as in very limited members. There are a few private ones out there which do this like Linkaloha and Lazy Ranks. I also believe it's true that private networks hold the best...

I have a website with the plural in the domain name and i rank #1 for both the plural and single. I built links focusing on the plural as my main keyword and single keyword as my secondary keyword.

I don't think the warrior forum has a rss feed, because usually if it did it would show up at the top of the site in the web browser section, where you type in domains.
