For siloing, just make sure the pages that are related to each other are linked to each other, and the pages that aren't related, aren't linking to each other.

One general standard is..

abce.com/first-dir/2nd-dir/last page

means user can reach last page in specific category after 3 clicks maximum....

I don't think so.

But the content network is at least 50% cheaper, if not more.

Google also charges according to the quality of the content
page. A CPC showing $50 could be whittled down to...

I have noticed that when I optimize for Google, Bing tends to follow right along. Bing seems to value the title and meta tags more than Google does, and it tends to count more of your backlinks....

EMDs rank well because Google deems them as the authoritative website for a product. No product owner would write a number in the URL...
