Even if they make their links NoFollow, you will still get the benefit of the links in some way. Maybe not PR, but they help anyway. Yahoo and MSN don't care about PR.

That blog you mentioned is NoFollow until you have a certain amount of comments. If you look closely, you'll see some links that are not NoFollow. The person that I noticed had 171 comments,...
