You picked prospects who have to be out working to be making money. Your odds of getting ahold of them on the first, second, or sixth try are low.

Pick a niche you can reach more easily.

As for your business, I'd say stick with cold calling and keep trying.
Maybe record yourself while speaking, go back home and listen to your recordings, improve on yourself.
