According to your problem I think it may be caused by deleting your links where you had put you links. Few sites delete user accounts when they have no activity on that sites.

The backlinks are being deleted because the owners of those sites don't want your links on their sites.

So you are probably violating those sites' terms of service, you are mass spamming them, or...

As you may be aware, there are algorithms that pull back sites from the search if they copy others content. You need to ask yourself, why would search engines promote sites that copy others...
