If you don't know what you're doing, definitely don't waste it on paid traffic (esp PPC).

You'll be out of cash before you know it.

Of course you can, but what is list building other than getting traffic to your squeeze page and making sure that it converts.

So if you outsource traffic generation(SEO, PPC, or articles,etc)...
