I'd trust Google Analytics more than Wordpress stats. They will likely do a better job of filtering things like bots, proxies, and other fake traffic.

Probably GA filters out more number of bots (IPs) and that why you see less users. And for page views (say you refresh a page) this may be treated differently (as 2 page visits or single one) by the...
