I agree with this guy. I've been managing and hosting websites for 12 years now, and I have never heard of being penalized for running a "private server", with many sites as some others have posted....

I don't think you will have any issues with Google. No need to use proxies.
If that's true then hosting companies should not offer shared hosting.
