Does your forum require email validation? each time they come back block their email address, im sure they will soon get bored. Ban all the IP addresses of public proxies you can find lists easilly

I have always found it useful to buy both and then redirect one to the other, I am in the UK but I find that most people automatically think that domains end with .com. Having them both will stop you...
