Youtube is an authority sites and ranking YT videos on Google is a bit easier, the same applies to Blogger blogs, you can rank them a lot faster than any other websites.

Any sorts of pages from authority domains have an advantage in the ranking. Here are some that I saw that ranked before. I don't know how well they might fare in ultra competitive keywords, though.
