If you want those specific pages/posts to rank for a given keyword, then yes, you should use them at least once or more in each post. Your keyword density should be between 1.5-2%.

The best way to use your keywords is to include them in your posts naturally. Don't force them in.

It would be better to deliver them via a zipped folder within your site. Simply provide them a link as xyz.zip and it would give them a download pop up & they'll be able to save it to their computer.
