double check to be sure it's set to desktop right column on the ad set level

or

build a page, it takes 5 minutes. desktop right column ads may be cheaper but they don't typically convert...

In most cases, for tracking and reporting, what FB has built-in is more than enough.

I use third party ad managers, but only for work (large corporation). I'd recommend third party ad managers...
