I agree with what others have suggested, in that it depends on your niche. Some niches allow the purchase of traffic for pennies, which makes PPC and solo ads attractive. Others prefer free methods...

I would agree to all the suggestion + Offline marketing in your locallity with flyers, leaflets and banners can actually get you a lot of traffic + do not forget about mobile apps as well as your own...

I can vouch for the Pareto Principle's truth. Only 20% of your activities produces 80% of your results. It makes lots of sense to focus more on this 20%.
