Im not sure in this post Penguin landscape, what in the world would make you think that Matt LaClear's bulk backlink packages would not possibly hurt your site. Have we learned nothing from Penguin.

A little of both.

Anything unrelated to your keyword is friction.

So if someone types in a single keyword and your best result contains 12 unrelated keywords, that's friction and it will reduce...

This is what I'm doing right now actually. Instead of buying several Exact domains, I purchased a great .org domain that I can build off of. Add subdomains + the TLD = exact keywords I'm tageting....

Hi malta,

Google indexes and ranks individual pages, not domains. creating a page on a sub-domain is not much different than creating a page on you primary domain. Which is also not much different...

Subdomain would be about as effective as having the keyword you want on a web 2.0 site, only a really crappy web 2.0 site.
