Traffic exchange is a waste of time if you are looking for conversions or even sales. Most of that is very low quality or bot traffic

That means your traffic isn't targetet to the right product. Conversion can be 0% to xx% if you have the right traffic for your product.

But in your case you don't know what kind of traffic is...

If you want a really fast index, generate a sitemap.xml and submmit it to the google webmaster tool. All my sites get indexed in a few hours. Also it is good to use some ping help like bulkping.
