You don't really need exact dates to see what work a competitor has done, and no Majestic does not provide the date the link was acquired.

It takes Google, with all of its resources, weeks to...

I also don't think we have a tool that can do exactly what Alvion is talking about. Otherwise, the tool should be able to tell what the competitor is thinking and when they are likely to drop a link.

There is nothing that will do that. Nobody has the resources to crawl the internet fast enough to accurately determine when a link was created, not even Google.

A tool like that would be extremely difficult to come by. Just think about it, is there analytics software that determines when a link was built to your site? In Google Analytics you can do things...
