Google Places Cheat Sheet by Brian Anderson is good.

You can google it. I think you can find it somewhere on WF too.

I find Bing and Yahoo rank keyword domain names higher than Google. Maybe they are less sophisticated and have to relay more heavily on keywords in domains, not sure, but you'll get a boost there...

Still... if I want to find a domainname that stands out from the crowd, I check NameBoy and get some real good ideas most of the time.

Another point about using your names is you can market various, and multiple products and services from your-name.com.

And you still have the option of having a keyword...
