Youtube is a great site and it's growing every day. There are a
lot of marketers out there which use it to drive traffic to their site,
build a following or brand their business.

Now the questions is how do they do it and what kind of content
do they use.

I would recommend to create two different kind of content for
Youtube which I show you in my new video.

I've seen you've written a few articles on videos. What is your view on whiteboard videos?

  I like whiteboard videos when they are done professional but it really depends what you want them to use for. They are good on a salespage or a explainer video but when you want to teach something more in depth or something which just needs longer I personally prefer screen capture or talking head videos.
  
  Also when you go whit whiteboard videos don't make them longer then 2-3 minutes. It's just my personal opinion but every time I watch a whiteboard video what is longer than that I lose attention.

Youtube is a great site to get traffic, so you should make clear strategies to build attracting content for it. The following two kinds of content you can generate on Youtube channel including searchable content and community content.
Searchable content is created by a simple keyword searched that make visitors easier to find it
Community content is built to strengthen relationship between you and your subscribers.
