There are hundreds of similar websites actually.. to name one of them, there's keepvid.com that helps you download the youtube videos in either .flv or .mp4 format that can be transferred to your iPods easily if in .mp4 format.

If you use Firefox you can also use a plugin like DownloadHelper to load the vids. (That's the way I use to do it.)

Guess what...you can do it without any additional program or website. Just open any youtube link and type "OK" before "youtube" and you'll be able to save it

it's magic

If you want to download videos in HQ just use free video downloader

I think downloading and playing it in your desktop is easy.. You just download the vid and play it.. Download the vid with the grabber available in the internet.

You can Download You tube or and Video you want Either youtube, Google Videos and ETC by IDM Software ( "Internet Download Manager". It enable a New feature through Which when you see any Video on Internet you can Just move curse over that Video and Something Like Button or Option suddenly appears "Download" just Click on it and wait till downloading complete . now the Video is your PC you can Watch this Video Offline

the best way is to add "kiss" in your URL.

For example: www(dot)youtube(dot)com/saddas
For downloading: www(dot)kissyoutube(dot)com/saddas

Step 1: Download and Install Firefox

Step 2: Run Firefox and go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006 and install the addon.

Step 3: Start playingthe video on whatever site you are on and you will see the addon icon light up. Click it to download the video.

Step 4: Use VLC to play any video file you downloaded.

I didn't read the report and I really don't think something like this warrants a full report.

This is a link to add flv player from an affiliate network which then puts adwords on your your computer don't do it warriors.
The OP above who posted it should get the boot in his ass. If you follow the instructions and download the player our helpful friend gets $1.20 a pop.

I think keepvid.com is the best. I do not download often but I know this website for years and I will always use it whenever I want the video. Looks like there's another website allows us to do the same... Thanks for sharing.
