I thought I would share the method I used to make my first $1 and what turned into my first $100 online. I lurked on WF for years and learned a great deal. I now make more with IM than I ever was able to make with a Masters Degree.

I wanted to share this because I find that most people lose motivation if they don't start to make money quickly. The reality is that making long term, REAL money takes time but a little motivation never hurt anyone.

A little about my method:

- It's 100% free and will cost you nothing to get going
- You need to have/get a CPA Affiliate account
- You need to have a good dose of common sense
- A bit of work ethic

  I had my first $100 day doing this about a week into it. The trick was to catch on to a hot trend before it got really hot (if that makes sense). My first $100 day took no more time that my first $10 day. It was working smarter and using a bit of intution (and luck) choosing some trends that went from popular to webtabulous.
  
  If your article gets really popular on Gather, you have a chance of Google news picking it up and if they link to your article, you can see some big dollars.

Do you have an example of one you have done that we can see on Gather? I'm interested to see how the CPA looks on the article.

When you say "Go to Digg, Reddit and Delicous and create a bookmark to the article." Do you mean submit your article to those sites?

This article was great but when I tried to register for a Gather.com account I received a notice that they were no longer taking new members as a result of heavy spamming. Maybe this technique could work on another site. thoughts?

  yep but there are other sites besides gather just google: Sites that take article submissions like gather.
  
  I think that this was a great idea nevertheless nothing wrong with it. Don't take the gather problem to heart.
  
  This same sort of thing can be done on your own domain. Haven't you ever seen the huntingtonpost.com, and other content curation sites? You pick a neutral domain name and start putting actual posts you see trending (BUT IN THIS CASE YOU GIVE CREDIT TO ORIGINATOR), you are just curating the information. Its much more proper to do it this way.
  
  You can get this site making money in a similar way and if its on your own domain your you can advertise anything you want. Make sure that you GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE.

Good Idea!. I don't know how it worked for you. But i can't try it as i tried earlier similar method with no success. No one likes to complete CPA offer now a days.
