NEWBIES! Here's How To Get The Ball Rolling In IM

Internet Marketing... It's the promised land right?

Money is everywhere, and success story after success story portrays an individual working 30 minutes a day before leaving to play golf.

Who wouldn't want a piece of that cake?.

But...

...like the finest Victoria Sponge, the competition is fierce to get to it. To get your slice you need to improve your chances. Can you stand near to where it will be cut? Does sweetening up the waitress (who will cut the cake) help your chances? You need to know...

...all the details.

The same goes for IM. You need to be in the know. You need to learn.

Books, WSO's, Warrior Forum, Google. It's all out there. Waiting for you to chomp up and spit back out in passive income.

Don't expect to jump in to whatever niche you're looking at and receive instant money. You just don't know enough yet! You need to live, eat and breathe it! Become it...

... and only then will you pull in $30 a week.

"What?! Only $30 for all that work?!"

But you keep going. Learn. Do. Repeat.

You optimise everything and two years down the line you have something special.

Yep you're making a fair bit of money. But the value lies in what you know.

The first hand experience. And replicate it, you must.

So here's what you need to do, as a first time, newbie IM'er:

1. LEARN!

Read the forum, study books and devour courses.

2. RESEARCH!

From what you learn, you will realise that research can save you a lot of time! Find out everything you need to before setting up your website, etc.

3. DO!

Do it! Don't get stuck in the 'always learning' zone. Sure... it's great to know stuff, but if you don't DO! Then what's the point?

4. REPEAT!

You should be learning all the time. Tweaking for optimisation. Constantly doing.

GET GOING NOW!

Use the search function, find what you're looking for. What are the best books, etc?

Sign up to the War Room, here on the forum, if you have the money to. A great amount of information is shared there.

Everyone on the forum can be helpful as long as you are polite and gracious.

When you're doing good, make sure to give back to those who may just be getting started!

I wish you the best of luck.

Totally agree with you Chris People get too confusing with every shiny product they see and don't take action.

But IMO the thing is very simple:
    -Learn
    -Take Action
    -Intermediate Research
    -Repeat

Good insight Chris, Although the learning curve will also be there it is the doing what most of us do not understand as vital, split testing researching and everything else which comes with it is all part of a long term process not many people willing to handle!

While I agree that they are key qualities, they can also be extremely misleading.

Sometimes you need to give up, no matter how hard you try. Restart on something new.

Yep, but if you keep trying to DO, eventually it will be harder to NOT do.

Thanks for the great share. My favorite piece of information? "Use the search function"

So many questions are asked/answered over and over, and so much information is already here. If I see one more "How can I make money online?" thread...
