What Is Email Marketing?

Collecting email addresses from people who visit your online space in exchange for something is what's known as email marketing. The purpose of this strategy is to give a visitor to your website a free gift in exchange for their personal details. You can offer anything really, but it's best to give them something of value. A video course, eBook and/or a weekly newsletter can be enough to "squeeze" an email address out of a visitor to your site.

What's Important about marketing your business in this way is that you are given "permission" to contact these people to offer your products.

Hey Big Frank sorry for the late answer. That's strange indeed! Did you try to download it with different browsers? I tried it again and everything works fine on my site!

At one time the old give away a free ebook or video worked well. But, today, it's less effective in getting you quality subscribers who will buy from you. You may get subs, but they will be mainly freebie seekers.

It's better to never use the word free on your squeeze pages. You should imply it without saying it. Use phrases like, "Get Full Details On How To Do XXXX Here"

I stopped using "Instant Access" and "Click Here" buttons because that only makes you look like every other IMer out there. I use a "Continue" button.

The best way to explain this is for you to checkout my optin page in my sig file.
