You could do various things, Sell tee shirts (teespring) to groups and build a page around it.
Also could do cpa offers using fb ads or even create a online store within fb.

Yes, I suggest you to build a FB page and generate likes from real human (not the bot). The FB page can be used as your own list. Promote affiliate programs to your FB page.

I love Facebook because of its power to network with so many people!

What you need to do is grow a network within Facebook.

Here is what you need to do every day:

1 - Post Valuable and Inspirational Posts on your wall daily
2 - Like & Comment on other people's wall posts!
3 - Follow new people every day (until you reach your limit)
4 - Have a genuine conversation through messages with all your new facebook friends

Now, the key here is to spend A LOT more time on other people's walls!

Spend a lot more time Liking & Commenting on other Facebook posts than on your own wall.

You gotta get you name out there and one of the best ways to do it - is to BE ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Just think about LIKING & COMMENTING as your business card. Leave it everywhere you can!

Now about growing a Fan Page.

You can implement a simple strategy called Sniping!

Become a Facebook Fan Page Sniper.

All you need to do is use Facebook as your Fan Page > next, Like other related fan pages so you can see their updates on your newsfeed > then finally start Liking & Commenting on other Facebook Fan Page's Posts!

I perfectly understand where you're coming from.

It's better to create a fan page, then use the page to create your fb ads using power editor. This way, you will get both fan page engagements, clicks to website and page likes. For me, the best way to get conversions is to advertise on fb using your fan page.

You will not even pay for the pages likes and other engagements apart from your major ad objective.

I have also noticed that using fan pages and power editor to create fb ads is by far cheaper than the normal ad creation method.

I meant the targeted ads on the sidebar that you always see on the sidebar. This is where I get confused because when you click on those ads it does not take you to a fanpage so that method must be working as well.

Because you don't have to directly link to a fan page with the ad program. You can redirect to any website. Or you can get likes on your page.
