Facebook Advertising in India

So I've just completed my first week on Facebook adverts. I am getting likes and clicks at an acceptable price, but I'm not satisfied with the sort of users I'm attracting.

My business is based in India and I've read a lot about getting cheap likes from places in Asia; I think my problem might be attracting too many of these easy likes.

I'm promoting an e-commerce store that sells movie merchandise. One of my campaigns was to those interested in Star Wars - males aged 16-40, from major cities in India, with an interest in Star Wars. I also later added smart phone owners to try and solve the problem.

It was a success in terms of numbers, but if I investigated the users who were liking/clicking, I could tell straight away they would have no interest in my products. They are the sort who always have thousands of wildly different liked pages themselves, which makes their interests lose relevance. It seems all they do is go around liking pages. They also NEVER have Star Wars listed in the "Films" section of their profile; I can only assume there is something Star Wars related buried in their thousands of likes.

Is there anyone here with experience in advertising in India who could offer some advice on what I'm doing wrong? I would like to reach that niche of genuine Star Wars fans in India with purchasing power. In an ideal world, I would target people who have listed Star Wars in their "films'' section and have less than 1000 likes.

I recently restarted advertising in FB. I think people tend to "Like" very generously, especially if they are young. You will probably do well targeting older folks and not 16 year olds. Perhaps 30-40?
