Does anyone have experience with Reddit?
How I can get visitors from there to my website?
I published some articles but I get only 7 visitors from Reddit a day

    It depends on your niche.

Some work better than others. A lot of people will tell you the traffic is garbage. They're wrong. These people simply need to learn how to filter and presell. I have no idea what your niche is, so I'd suggest checking out Reddit to see how it performs in general for your niche, and then either reverse engineer or choose another niche.

I've tried Reddit a couple of years ago for one of my niche blogs and I got it up to 16K visits/month in a couple of weeks...
The traffic was not converting very well, so I left it alone but there's definitely potential there!
    Good luck

Search youtube for a reddit tutorial video by Lazyassstoner. He knows his onions when it comes to social media.

My experience: the traffic from reddit is good for link building, not for sales. redditors are more likely to share the stuff they like on their blogs.

Really depends on your niche and how unique the content is because with Reddit you will run into a lot of trolls and downvoters.

Are we talking free or paid advertising?

If you want to post something and expect traffic then you need to aim to get to the top 1-3 spots on 'hot' or 'trending'. Try a catchy headline, make sure you're providing value and engage asap with anyone that comments so your thread looks active.

I've been able to get about 2k from reddit in the space of a couple of days! Check my blog below and search reddit. I did a case study on it a few months ago.

Reddit is more image oriented site. You will have more success with photos.Subreddits about photos can drive crazy traffic. This traffic won`t convert, but there is a way to monetize it.

Right, because it's the onions he knows.

You can pull massive traffic off of Reddit, but don't count on it to convert. Think of it as brand building.

The most important thing is this: don't market to Reddit. Reddit members are extremely protective of their community, and they resent any attempts at marketing. If you share something spammy, you will get downvoted into oblivion. However, if you link to a funny, witty, useful blog post you could go viral.

You need to build up karma on the site first, though.

Maybe you are thinking too small as seven articles is not a lot to be sharing on any site. If you've submitted seven so far, submit another 100 and see where it goes.

If you have something affiliate or make money niche, you can always advertise it via the Beer Money subReddit section which is in place for this specific purpose. Though you still need to be an active contributor in other ways on Reddit so as not to be seen as a spammer.

I would really make a real effort to contribute to other parts of the Reddit community (via questions/answers, discussions), before dropping any links here.

Another thing, that subReddit is good for finding micro jobs, if you are into that kind of thing.

I try to stay pretty current. I like to think I'm not actually getting old and out of touch with the younger generation. I do. But Reddit confounds me, I have to admit. I just do NOT get Reddit. I must be the old geezer now, right? Sigh...

You have to realize there could be a traffic exponential at work here. The more you post useful content on Reddit, the more likely it will be found, long after the fact, not just the day you publish it..
