[ASK] Facebook Ads - Click To Website

Hello everyone,

Based on my title for this thread, i need help about facebook ads on click to website section. I've been creating new campaign and set up this campaign.

At "Bidding and Pricing" section, i tried to set Manually set your maximum bid for clicks (CPC) and the Suggested bid is $0.05 USD.

But, the problem is after 1 week i run the campaign, why the cost for click to website is so high? Not $0.05 but $0.93/click to website. Anyone can help me? FYI: i've been creating 4 Ads Unit.

Thanks.

I would say you are targeting a highly competitive niche, that is why the cost is very high.

I don't quite understand your reply but will say that if you are targeting basketball then yes, this is a highly competitive market, especially with all the teespringers

The estimated ad cost for Facebook is rarely what you end up getting charged. If your ads get a lot of engagement and a high click-through rate, your cost will be lower than the estimate. If you're in a competitive niche and your ads don't get a lot of engagement, you'll be charged more than the estimate.

The issue is with the CTR, whenever I have a high CTR, I pay less than the amount I placed for the bid. Research and use relevant interests for your ads to increase your chances of getting a high CTR.

What is your bid? you must be bidding more than $.05 if it is manual CPC.
