Here's an article about social media to get more traffic. Just wanna share this to everyone!

Internet traffic according to wikipedia.org is the flow of data across the Internet. It is highly used by people who are into internet marketing. With the use of internet traffic, you could get more views and more sign ups on your website regardless of the market you are targeting.

There are many ways to build internet traffic. One of which is through blogging. But the most common and the most easiest way to do as of today is making online traffic through social networking sites. It's basically creating traffic by adding people and sharing the link to your website to increase the number of visits and following. It is easy and very practical because as well all know these days, people are hooked to social networking sites.

Here are 5 common social networking sites that could greatly effect the number of traffics you get in your website.

    1. Facebook.

This is a very popular social networking site these days. It is very uncommon to know someone who doesn't have one. It's taking socializing to a next level, hardly a face to face contact, but an online screen to screen contact with your friends, families or affiliates. What's good about Facebook is that information dissemination is easy. As long as you have a huge number of friends on this site, it's so easy to share and disseminate information to millions of people online. It's easy to share links through status and people would directly see it through their Facebook homepage and click, share or like the links you've posted. The more friends you have, the more clicks, share or like you get, the more traffic you could gain for your website.

    2. Twitter

Twitter isn't that much complicated. Twitter is a social networking site where you could share pictures, links and statuses online fast. They call their statuses as Tweets where you get the chance to say what you feel or share information with a limited number of words per tweet. It's basically sharing your status online at a faster pace. And people get to re-tweet or favorite the tweets you created. Increase traffic by following people as much as you can, the more you follow, the more people will follow you back. Once you've reached the desired number of followers, it is easier for you this time to increase traffic by posting your website link in every tweet you create. You just have to add a very controversial or intriguing kind of description so that people would be compelled to click on the link you created so that they will be redirected to your website.

    3. Instagram

Unline twitter and Facebook, instagram is a social networking site where it focuses mainly on photos. It's easier compared to the previous two social networking sites. All you got to do is to take a picture of whatever it is that you wanted to share online through photos, add a filter then share it online. The very basic way for you to increase traffic is to post a picture of your product, or website and then add the link to the description box located just below the photo. Of course, you have to have a pretty decent amount of followers to for them to be able to see and like and be redirected to your website. Through this, you could increase the number of views and sign ups on your website.

    4. Tumblr

According to wikipedia.org, Tumblr is a microblogging platform and social networking website founded by David Karp and owned by Yahoo! Inc. The service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. It's basically a combination of a blog and a social networking site rolled into one creating Tumblr. What's nice about Tumblr is that once you get to create a blog post regarding your product or website, not only you could put your links in there, but also, people could reblog the post. With that, reblogged post are seen on the pages of people who reblogged your work. Thus, it is seen by many other people who are following them. They will then be redirected to your Tumblr page and then visit your official website. But then again, you also have to follow a decent amount of people to achieve the highest number of traffic you wanted. You just have to remember that there is a following limit everyday. A good 200 people per day is good enough.

    5. Google Plus

Google plus is a social networking site where you could share links through your profile and be shared by your followers and friends within your niche. It is somewhat connected to your gmail account. There are still lots of people who are on google plus because of their gmail account. That is why it is also good to invest a good number of followings in this site to increase the amount of people liking and sharing your post that will lead to an increase number of traffics every time you post a link or a status regarding your product.

Social networking sites isn't the only way to increase the number of traffic in your website. There are still tons and tons of ways out there.

I think he means that the most important thing is consistent action, which is true.

The traffic you'll get from this is very low quality. What good does it do having someone tweet your content if 90% of their followers are bots or unengaged users?

On the whole, you get what you pay for.
