FB Fraud Exposed what do you think?

This video has been posted a number of times recently.

In my experience, and I've spent more than $30K on Facebook ads in the past couple months, I've seen nothing even remotely close to what the video claims. I have a number of pages I've bought likes from Facebook for and the likes I've purchased have always been in the target demographic and they engage with my page posts.

I regularly check my likes to make sure they're in my target demographic and everything is on the up and up and I haven't found anything alarming yet.

He should not have targeted countries that are known for click farming. But yeah, I don't use FB as much as I used to. It has nothing to do with this video, though.

It's easy for people to "like" something on FB. That doesn't mean they are buyers.

FB is public now, so you can expect them to continue making it harder to get organic reach with their platform.

I recently boosted a post for $5 on a new page with only 16 organic likes. The $5 post reached ~1,100 people and resulted in 32 engagements. It didn't result in any organic likes. For $5, I was ok with the results.

If you are going to buy likes from them, though, just target the US, Canada, UK and Australia. Don't complain if you target other countries and get unengaged users. You get what you pay for.

I'm not paid by Facebook or by the Warrior Forum...In fact, I've never received a dime from either company. I have, however, given Facebook a lot of my hard-earned money to promote my Facebook pages, landing pages and the products I'm selling and I've had a phenomenal year doing it.

You can believe what you want to believe. Just because something doesn't work well for you doesn't mean it doesn't work well for others. I've been absolutely killing it with Facebook this year. Paid Facebook likes aren't a waste for me and they're a big part of my online business. I spend money on likes and they pay off again and again and again.

Man I hope I can get there! I just dropped my first CPA offer (Post > LP > CPA Offer) and got barely any link clicks but of course I only have 1200 fans and the reach sucks on most posts.

It's tough to get anything going with smaller pages these days. I've found that once you get 5K to 10K likes the reach gets better and you start getting more organic reach. As long as you're posting good content that's getting good engagement, you'll start getting more reach as your page grows.

Are you using paid ads? A handful of paid ads to content that goes viral can really expand your reach and you'll see the reach on all of your posts start to improve.

The CPA offer was a boosted post if that is what you mean by a paid ad? Besides that my paid campaign has strictly been for page likes to get my engagement up and possibly build a list.

If you don't mind me asking how much do you usually spend on a campaign to get 5K likes? I am new so I am sure I am paying more lol

I don't mind at all...It depends on the niche, but I rarely pay more than 5 cents per like and have been able to get the cost per like down to as low as 1 cent per like on some campaigns. I'll spend between $250 and $500 to get the page started. Once the engagement kicks in and the organic likes start flowing, I can usually stop the ads. I have pages right now for which I haven't bought likes for months that are getting 1,000 plus likes per week organically.

Wow that is awesome, yeh I am up to about $200 so far the best I have gotten is $0.10 per like.

Never heard of the FB Note App?

I use my fan page for all sorts of marketing efforts, but primarily I drive traffic to my T-Shirt campaigns and to my websites where I'm building a list and selling affiliate products. I've added several thousand people to my list and turned a profit while doing it from the affiliate links I have on my landing pages.

The key to lowering the cost is to continuously optimize your ads. Try different pictures, different text and different targeting until you get it dialed in. I usually spend around $5 at a time and then increase the spend on the ads that look like they could be successful.

Do you test out all 3 placements with the same ad? A friend of mine said he strictly does mobile since almost all FB traffic is now mobile.

This then leads me to wonder what happens if I have mobile traffic fans mixed in with my desktop traffic fans and having the right offer for the device the user is on... so confusing!

The majority of my sales come from mobile, but I get enough desktop sales to make it worth my while to leave desktop ads on.

It really depends on whether the product I'm trying to sell has a mobile-optimized website or not. If it has a website that makes placing a mobile order easy, I'll usually use all three. I've played around with turning mobile, RH and desktop ads off and on and it really hasn't had any effect unless the sites aren't mobile optimized. Then, you should run strictly desktop and RH side ads.

There's definitely a lot to consider, but the more you do it, the better you get at figuring out what does and doesn't work. Test your ideas with small amounts of money and scale the ones that work up as much as you can afford. Even then you've got to keep a close eye on your campaigns because some of them won't scale the way you'd expect them to.

i suggest you focus on promoting friends of friends campaigns, you will get lower cost since the CTR will be higher, as well, use retargeting with custom audience, both will make your campaign 30-40% cheaper easy.

Friends of friends campaigns haven't worked very well in the niches I've tried them in. Probably because you're randomly targeting the friends of people who have a certain interest. How many of your Facebook friends like the exact same stuff you like?
