I tried but don't figure it out how to take a screen shot from

youtube video.

It depends on the resolution you require. If you just need a so-so photo, select the highest resolution available and then click "Theater View." Then just pause the video where you want it and press "Print Screen" on your keyboard. Use Photoshop to crop the image. This won't work well if the video isn't at least 720p.

From within Photoshop you can enlarge it. make sure you select "Bi-Cubic Smoother." You can also use plugins like Alien Skin Blow Up. These plugins are not free, but they can enlarge an image by several orders of magnitude without quality loss.

On a Mac you can use Command-shift-4 and it will allow you to take a screenshot. I use it almost daily.

The easiest way to take YouTube screenshot is by using the default “Print Screen” function. Just click the Print Screen key, and then paste the copied screenshot on Paint utility to save the image. Or you can use professional screenshot tools like Snipping Tool, Jing, and Screen Capture Pro to screenshot YouTube.
