How do I get more Facebook fans?

Hi,

I'm trying to increase the number of Facebook fans of a site and I'm finding it quite difficult.

I've used guest articles, which brought me a few and I only want to do it the free way.

Any ideas?

How could I increase the Facebook fans?

Like different facebook pages of your niche and give your facebook link on pages and you can also get facebook fans from social media exchange sites.

Really depends on your niche because if you have a page with memes or videos it will be great for YouTube. However, business niches or profit niches are a little trickier to promote and get fans within Facebook. I would promote your Facebook page on your website along with promote it on relevant forums to get followers.

What you could do is find other groups/pages that are in the same niche as you, contact the moderator and ask them if you can post a link to your group/page.

Be worth a shot. It's better than joining another group, posting your link and having the post deleted.

Other then that really the only thing that works is to buy the traffic from FB. I would be very cautious with any other source... you could easily end up with bot accounts that simply like everything.

This. It's all you need. Well, depends in which niche you're in, but still, in majority of cases it works like a charm.

I tried actually,... not much success.

What paid off were the guest articles on related sites. I asked them to place links to my Facebook page too. I got a few fans.

But still, not in the hundreds, not in the thousands...

This doesn't work anymore, i have emailed and tried to contact 100's of facebook owners with the same niche as mine and none of them return your message even though i have over 36k on my page they still don't reply, you would think they all know Facebook is being a twat now with organic likes and they would help each other more but they don't.
unfortunately you have to pay to advertise now with facebook

it's a shame about the page and group owners as they should help each other out.

It's not surprising as even Facebook has to earn money to stay alive. And, they spent years allowing people to get a free ride with exposure of posts in the news feeds and once those Facebook page owners got addicted to all the free traffic, they started limiting reach and demanding money for the same. Now those people are having to pay or find other ways to get into contact with the fans who liked their page.

use fb ads by creating multiple campaigns. split test between them.

use different images/words. let them run for a while and then change them and test again.

in 2-4 weeks you'll end up with the best converting campaign. then split test again with your best campaign to make it even better.

when you're 100% happy and find the best of the best converting one, invest money on it. good luck

Did you even read the OP? He said he wants to do it the free way. While your way is probably the easiest, it most definitely isn't free...

This could happen in several ways:

    # Increase the input to your sales process (more traffic to the page where they click to become a fan)

    # Increase the conversions of your sales process (make any given page where they would click to become a fan more effective at convincing them to do so)

    # Word of mouth (Make it more likely that your existing subscribers or new subscribers will share your page with someone else). For example:
    # # Higher quality content that better targets what your niche wants
    # # A rewards program for sharing it.
    # # More explicitly asking that they share it ... including a reason why that resonates with what they want.
    # # And so on...

Have a seat with pen and paper and brain storm ideas for each of those 3 above. Once you've got 100 or so written down, go back and select the least worst ones to try.

I suggest you not to go for any fake Facebook fans. One real fan is better than 100 fake fans. Here are some steps those may help you to increase Facebook fans.
    Suggest or Invite your friends.
    Create a contest.
    Buy some real fans.
Add the URL to your marketing materials
Tag users in photos and videos
Put a Facebook fan box on your website
Create some nice and unique content.
If you can follow those steps, I hope your will be able to increase the number of fans.

Hi! You can join in communities on Google and try to get fans/followers there. Make sure your Facebook page is presentable and with informative and presentable timeline. You can also join in facebook groups that are related to your niche. There are also exchange likes which you can take advantage of, be sure to follow their guidelines. You can also target the followers of your competitor and send them private message inviting them to like your FB page.

There are scripts that unlock content after someone hits the like button. Try this. Use a script on your landing page that offers something truly valuable for free and then do a couple of press releases linking back to your site. People will come to your site looking for the content and would be presented with the FB content locker. Hope that helps.

If you don't want to advertise maybe you can try to get people to share your post. It depends upon your niche. I doubt you can get far this way, but slowly likes will come if you do that.

Another thing you can do it that you can include your Facebook page in your signature, and contribute real insights into Forums. If people think you know what you're doing. They may want to check out what you have to offer too.

The best way is to get more fans is by posting viral content. I had 30 fans on a cricket focused Facebook page. A friend of mine had this video of kid doing some great bowling tricks. I posted it online and asked a few social friends to share it. It got over 7000 shares in one month time. By the end of that month, I had 1700 fans on my page.

Also, you need to keep up with your updates. Post different type of posts that do not deviate from the topic of your page. Try to be humorous. Publish video and text posts more frequently. This way, you page will get more chances of showing up on the newsfeed.

If you have a website, use a Facebook pop-up plugin. You can also use fan-gate. It another good way to increase fans.

    I hope it helps.

Just focus on providing good quality posts that people will engage with instead of focusing on just getting likes.

Reach out to others in your niche and get inspired from there posts and make a post of your own. Let those know about it so that they can spread the word.

Share as much as you can through as many sites as you can.

When you make that shift and you're consistent with how, when, and what you post then people begin to take notice and will eventually like your page.

The best part about making great posts is that you never know when one will go viral. It's usually when you least expect it and even better is that when it does, it hits your page hard!
