I would say with less than a 2-5% CTR on each link you tweet. You don't get many clicks from twitter unless you have some SUPER targeted followers.

So lets say 5% click. You would need 20,000 REAL AND ACTIVE followers at 5%. Reality is 5% is pretty dang high for someone in our industry unless you are someone like kern or filsaime.

100 000 followers or less ,if they are more tatrgeted.

This is a really tough question to answer because it depends upon so many different factors. How targeted are your followers? How often do you tweet? Do you tweet interesting content? What device do your followers most often view your tweets? How many of your tweets contain a link to your website? Is your website interesting?

I more or less agree with this user:

If you could get a 1-2% click-through rate on 2-3 tweets per day containing the link, you would need about 60-100k real, genuine, human followers.

Not only that but all your followers will not see your tweets at specific times. You would realistically need around 100k REAL AND TARGETED followers.

1000 visitors from Twitter this is a lot... and for 2500 followers is impossible. You must have 10-50k followers for it. And it will be realy "live" people - not bots. I can advise you start using twitter merketing tools. They can help you increase your followers by 4-6 months. It can make for example Twidium Inviter or TweetAdder.
