I have a youtube channel please give me advice how to optimize.

My Channel is about USCIS Doctors.

    Optimize in terms of what? Design? What are you looking for specifically? YouTube has multi-channel ability now, so if you are looking for a game plan for content syndication things have been changed up, with more on the way.

    You should be optimizing every video on your channel by including a full transcript. The text that accompanies your video will help you rank as it will naturally include many relevant keywords that are associated with your content. Also, optimize your title, description and tags to accurately describe your video. Don't engage in keyword stuffing or add inappropriate keywords just to get people to click through. Don't so could get your videos reported or taken down.

    Once you have done all this, get active in the Youtube community with other similar channel owners. Make comments on other videos. Over time, others will see your comments and if they like what you have to say, will visit your own channel. Just remember, you are trying to establish credibility as your niche expert, not spam links.

    Beyond that, you can share your video to Facebook, Tumblr, Google+ and any other relevant site where you think your fans might want to see it.

      Most important part is finding the right keywords and then optimizing those in the title and description but make sure its an exact match to the main keyword for the video.

      Focus on 1 keyword for each video and do about 5-6 keywords/videos

      To find competitors tags do the following

      1. Open the video you want to copy tags from.
      2. Right click = > View Page Source
      3. Ctrl+F => Type "keywords"
      4. Copy all the keywords that you can see including the keywords you have found

      and some other stuff as mentioned above

        I would much rather utilize a lengthy and detailed description on the Youtube video than rely on tags and random keywords. This will benefit your Youtube visitor and reflect favorably upon you in Google's eyes.

    The other considerations that I've watched videos about are: Views, Minutes watched, Likes, Comments, and Subscribers. I'm trying to cover all the bases, but I really don't know whats the order of importance. Does anyone has insight here? Thanks.

    1. Keyword in the title of the video
    2. Detailed description with the keyword sprinkled throughout
    3. Upload the video in HD
    4. Make RAW file name the keyword
    5. Update transcript and rename with the keyword
    6. Create timestamps with the keyword in it.
    7. Get real views, comments, likes, and shares
    8. Create backlinks to your videos (I suggest Link Emperor)

    - Setup your channel correctly. Start with a relevant username - preferably your target keyword, branding or company name.

    - Customize YouTube channel appearance. You may outsource graphic work for both your company logo and YouTube channel background or do it yourself by downloading a free template on the internet.

    - Update your Channel Info and Settings. Make sure you have your keywords in your Title, Description and Tags.

    - Change your Tab and Channel Style. Switch from Default Tab to Feature Tab. Blogger style is recommended especially if you're uploading regular videos.

    - Always add a Feature Video. Preferably, set your latest video or your most popular video to be featured.

    Add retention views along with likes, subscribers and stuff. And of course be consistent.

    Don't add 5.000.000 views in one month and 10.000 the next one, this is gonna raise a red flag

    Be normal and not greedy.
