Are talking about taking an image from pinterest or just a text quote? I wouldn't take an image from pinterest and repost it as my own but I would share other quotes from facebook, I share other people's content on facebook from time to time and my users like that.

Also, most quotes aren't copyrighted, check on that to make sure but you can just post any quote as long as it's just the text and don't claim it to be yours. If you want a quote that's an image just make them, it's easy.

You can't get images and quotes on google images. All of them are copyrighted content. Google images find images from website on the web. Websites of me and you!

If you have a quotes page, then using text is okay, and in most cases pictures taken from Google should also be okay you just need to ensure you take the free ones. Just change license settings while searching in Google to Free for commercial use

You can use quotes from other pages the same as images. But there are copyrighted materials which you can't use. So, just choose the one that is not copyrighted. You can also create your own or edit images with quotes and post to your page.

when taking photos out of Google and for posting on FB, i suggest you give credits to the owners. this is what i usually do to steer clear from any copyright issue. For content, they are usually shareable, so i think that's fine.

So you can't actually share a pic on facebook page, that you found with google? Why? It's not for commercial purposes, it's a fan page.

You can search Google images that are public, free and write the quotes on them. You can also share quotes from other Fb pages, but always give credit to the owners. Although FB is a pubic place, it's not nice to "steal" other people's works. So, better make your own. They will be unique and well received by the users. All the best!

Yeah, but again, Facebook is "public", you can post anything you want, on your personal profile or your page. It's social network, not your personal webpage. So okay, it's not nice to "steal" other peoples stuff, but it isn't against any terms. Or am I wrong?

I say a google search is the best source to find inspirational quotes and such, like other said google images are usually copyrighted.

You would need to check if the images are copyrighted or not and check the licenses. I paid for the images that I sell. When you share from someone else's Facebook page, it does have a hyperlink to their own page so sharing that way is fine (assuming they haven't stolen images).

When you search on google images and find an image. Then click on visit page, In most of case, the owner actually mention that all images and content in this website is copyrighted and now can share or use for personal purpose.
The facebook fan page should include legal content. Because it's responsibility of fan page owner to provide quality but legal content.
Personally I buy images and outsource articles for my fan page.
