They post multiple times per day and their posts gets shared, liked and commented on a lot. This tells Facebook that their content is relevant to the users, and therefore ads to the user experience on Facebook. So, they show their posts in more feeds.

Also, they have 2,311,513 likes. So, even if they only show each post to 15% of their fans, that is 346,726 people seeing each post. That's still a lot. Only takes 5 posts to serve to over 1 million people. If just 10% click through, that is 100,000 visitors per day.

Plus they have over 230,000 "talking about" them.

It depends a lot on the nature of your content. Small businesses I've worked with struggle to get 10% organic reach with good content but one of my clients who is a popular singer in the area consistently gets 150%+ reach.

Honestly 15% is pretty damn good. Your goal at this time should just be to sustain that 15% reach.

I just created a new fan page and I'm averaging like 1-5% haha

This is my point of view,
If you have a site, an audience, and a Facebook page, and you want your andience to grow, you should mainly advertise your website, not your Facebook page.

Back on topic, there's gotta be some trust measure that Facebook uses in order to define if a certain page has some credibility and should target a large portion of its followers. If your Facebook page is new, you might have to do an astounding effort to reach your followers (Little advertisement, enticing posts etc..), now once your audience starts interacting with your page, you start reaching more and more people. But if your audience doesn't interact much (or at all) with your posts, even though you migh have thousands of followers, you reach none. Because Facebook punishes you for not posting something enticing.

You've gotta understand Facebook, they want people to get THE BEST in their timeline (once they land on facebook.com), so if you're just posting boring or repetitive stuff, or "Visit us TODAY at www.example.com", people are likely to stop visiting Facebook, hence the effort you have to make in order to gain a certain level or trust and credibility.

So why do they get a lot of traffic from Facebook? Probably because they have a certain level of credibility, and Facebook trusts their page.

P.S.: That's why buying Facebook likes, even if it makes you feel more interesting, you're likely to suffer a lot from it later. Better have 100 followers with 50 of them interacting with your page, than 10,000 followers and only 2 interacting (shoutout to someone in this forum).

Last month I launched a brand new blog and generated over a million pageviews in the first month: From 0 to 1,125,671 Pageviews in a Month

I explain in the article the methods I use, but basically it's all about creating content that people will want to engage with. This is what Viral Nova, BuzzFeed, and those guys are all realllllly good at doing.

@dzcoder, the best way to get Likes is to setup an ad campaign for them. I had an article that explains how I do that as well: How I Advertise on Facebook

@joshzyerburg, the first paragraph shows how big my audience is and explains how I built it. Yes, you will need to invest money and time into building your audience, but that should be obvious.

That's kinda misleading, because you've been building your audience since 2011, so people who'd think they can do just like you and get 1M pageviews in a month they're gonna be disappointed.
