What am I doing wrong here?

I can't seem to figure this out and its driving me crazy. I've watched some videos on youtube on how to target proper audience and what to do and one of the things was learn how to find specific "Page Likes". Well I tried and its not showing me anything...
Please help

What interests are you targeting? Look at the other Tabs and you will uncover a lot more information about your Niche. There is a bunch of information that these custom audiences bring to the table. You are looking at something very general in this image. If you look at the other tabs...

Do you know of any associations, organizations or magazines based around your niche? That will help too..

    Good Luck!!

For this specific ad I am targeting people who love and drive Audi cars. Specifically Audi B7 A4.
This is how I have it setup. I can't seem to get the CTR price down and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

I think you have way too many things going on here.

First I would get rid of Education Level, Industry and Language, I don't think it's necessary for the shirt you are selling. Also your geographic restrictions remove them, simply select United States.

What I would do is a PPE ad with a bright background (I normally use yellow). With a PPE ad I can tell if the design resonates with my target audience quickly. If I get comments like "I love this" or people tagging their friends then I know it's a good design. I have never have had success with CTW ads and they also don't provide organic reach or feedback.

I would also get rid of 3rd party apps and RHS ads and only run desktop and mobile.

In the interest section I would also include Audi specific websites and forums like audizine.com, people who belong to an Audi forum are passionate enough about Audi's to buy shirts. I would also runs a test for women as well, don't assume they wouldn't be interested. Women buy a lot of stuff including car related shirts and they share a lot more than men.

Also open up your demographic a bit more, I would say 18-45 years (I normally start at 19 -54 years and after 24hrs see who is sharing and commenting the most and reduce from there).

Lastly, if after you have done all this you are still getting a CTR of 0.2% for a PPE ad (even a CTW ad), kill the campaign, and test another shirt. PPE Ads for shirts are normally around 3% + CTR or more, sometime as high at 30% or more.

I personally run a campaign for 24 hrs ($20) and if the CTR is below 3% and I don't have at least 3 comments and 20+ shares and at least 1 sale, I kill the campaign and test another shirt.

    Hope it helps.

WOW thank you so much for all the suggestions. I will go ahead and try this again with different colors and backgrounds as well as your recommendations about PPE vs CTW

Thank you I was able to figure it out yesterday and boosted few shirts to $20 a day

    CTR's
    1.95%
    2.57%
    other two are just launched.

So what should I do from here? Should I increase $$$ for the 2.57 and see if that gains me anything? Problem is that I also advertised these shirts on in a Car Group where I am knows and I dont know if sales coming from them or from ads.
Right now I have 10/50 sold for that ad.
Post has 25 likes and no SHARES at all

This is what I have now

Thanks guys. I finally was able to hit spot on with my designs and it seems to be paying off well. In the past few days I had more than 50 shirts ordered and more are coming in as we speak because people started to share and tag their friends in my posts. Fortunately I did not invest much money into it because I was already member of a lot of related groups therefor people already knew me
This is what it looks like. Feed back would be appreciated.

I have to thank everyone on here who has helped me with all the questions I have had. I am glad that I was able to find this forum completely by accident and was able to learn new things by reading a lot of interesting threads.

I am going to hit my 1st $1000 today since I've launched TeeSpring few weeks ago and I am hoping that from now on all I do is grow grow grow
