How long does it take to generate 100 legitimate facebook likes?

I've seen questions on here about HOW to generate legitimate facebook likes, but I've had a client ask me HOW LONG it would take to generate those likes?

We're designing our client's web page & one design option is to include a small facebook app in the bottom corner to display a fb "like" button & total likes so far. His obvious concern however, is it'll look bad if a user comes to the site & only see's 2 likes via the fb app. So his question was, "how long will it take to generate at least 100 legitimate facebook likes" for his business? If it's going to take too long, we'll scrap the idea of showing this facebook app on the page.

If it helps, his business is "injury risk mitigation". They provide medical tests to companies who's employees have been injured on the job to determine how severe the injury is. Their primary clients are Human Resources managers & elected union leaders.

Thanks for the help.

Run a facebook ad, post boost, or page promotion on Facebook. Target your niche correctly and you can generate 100+ plus likes in a few hours.

The length of time it'll take depends on how much traffic will hitting the page, whether your client is willing to pay to advertise and whether or not your client is selling products that people want associated with their Facebook accounts.

If your client is selling items people like and want to show off to their friends and is willing to spend some cash, 100 likes is achievable in less than a day. On the other hand, if your client is selling herpes cream, it might take forever to hit 100 likes!

It's difficult to say how much time it is going to take without knowing your strategy. If your page is filled with good content, and you run an effective and well targeted ad campaign then you can get them in a few days or even earlier.

If you have a tight budget and focus on other means than it could take longer.

I recently did it in a day - buy a facebook ad for your page and target it properly and you can get 100 likes in a few hours. Just end the ad campaign once you get to 100. That's what I did and the ad cost me under $5 total.

Yeah I agree, 100 likes is nothing. Just run a facebook marketing campaign targeting your exact niche and you should get that in no time.

It will depend on the traffic of your page. It depends on the advertisement. Is it catchy and professional?

It's seriously still only about $5-10 for 100 likes? 0.05c a like? I'd heard it gone up alot more than that.

I have a fan page that I run currently and I jump started the first 1,500+ likes from about $40 in ads.

And prices "going up" isn't really what it is in your perspective. 1 cent clicks are not impossible, and can be achieved with the correct targeting, audience, etc.

Facebook changed the algorithm in which ads and posts display in the feed. Which in turn makes it harder to really perfect ad copy and placement.

But this is no bad thing, as when you can get learn the methods like the back of your hand the success will be great.

Thank you. That's very helpful info.

Was that with newsfeed ads or side ads?

Do you know any good source of up-to-date training on how to work with that algorithm to get the best results?

You need to think about FB organics. Besides FB ads, how else can you grow a page? You should be able to notch up 100 likes on a new page in a few hours. Research fan page growth.

It depends. If your client has a budget you could do that in a couple days with a good offer. But it will need to be targeted. If they don't have a budget it's gonna be tough, unless they have a list. I usually use other social media platforms like Youtube and Instagram to redirect them back to my fan pages.

Paid likes from a Facebook ad can get those likes on your page pretty fast as many here have said, but organic likes you cannot really determine how fast since it depends a lot on factors from how, what, and when you post as well as how well you market to your audience in general.

Funny and creative images do work extremely well on Facebook that's for sure! Especially memes!

If your engagement is low with your text posts definitely consider creating a meme related to what your posting that day and watch how your audience engages with it!

I agree that "catchy" and "creative" images greatly increase you like/share percentages. It seems to me though that Facebook is increasingly becoming a "pay to play" social media system. I recently posted a blog photo and link onto one of my Facebook accounts with approximately 900 people. I checked the next day and my post had reached 11 people??? It seems Facebook is making it harder to reach people from business pages unless you pay them..

That happened with one of my posts as well until I posted again the next day and it reached around 75% of my audience. I posted again the following day and reached around 90%.

And that was without spending any money on Facebook ads!

I noticed if your consistent with your posts and the more your audience engages with those posts, then Facebook rewards you by extending your reach. The less often you post the less your reach will be no matter how many fans you have.

I noticed video clips get more impressions because they are interactive

If you want to include video clips from internet, download torch browser and download viral clips that you see online and post them on your page
You will see increase in views

but with 900 people you are expected to get about 19 views if your photo is mediocure ...you need to work your way up to 10k to see big results

Lastly, always invest at least a $1/day till your page get s bigger

How long depends on how much money are you willing to invest in an ad campaign or how much time are you willing to spend on promoting your page without ads (shares, inviting people to like it ecc.).

Could be 5 minutes, if big fanpage will share your fanpage.
Do some search for s4s (share for share) groups on facebook.
There are plenty of them, just find relevant niche. Then start exchange shares and you will grow your fans pretty quickly.
    Hope that helps.

Creativeness is great, but without consistency then creativeness won't matter.

Get in the habit of posting at least 1 incredible post every day and you will reap the rewards.

Engage your potential customers/fans by giving them what they want. Content is hard but if it's how you want to spend your time marketing your thing, you need to make it relevant and good.

There is no specific time on how long would it take to generate likes on your page, unless you are into ads because you will be able to get what you've paid for.
Social media strategies is actually an experiment. You will be the only one who can answer that question though.

    Some questions:
    1. Is your client willing to invest in Facebook advertisement?
    2. If so, how much is he willing to invest?
    3. Is your client dedicating resources to manage his Facebook page properly i.e. from devising content strategy to keeping it active?

Just as a side note, if your client intends to opt for free-route, chances are that getting 100 LIKES will be a little tougher if your client's PR and outreach with other bloggers, page admins is somewhat moderate.

If you have budget, you can expect to get 100 LIKES in a few minutes or in a few days depending upon your spending capacity, targeting precision and content.
