How exactly does one profit from pinterest? To me it is just people pinning photos on the website;what is the logic behind just doing that and making business off of it? Please explain

      Yes, nothing unusual about Pinterest although I'm sure there are experts that will give you the step by step, blow by blow instructions of how to best monetize your postings.

      Pinterest gets tons of traffic and you capitalize on that traffic by pinning to draw eyeballs to your cause. I would imagine that Pinterest followers would be especially attracted to certain types of products like those found in "foods," "fashions," "crafts," "home decor," and other such topics.

        I currently run a small phone case business exclusively from traffic via Pinterest. I get daily traffic to my website and sell a few products here and there with zero effort because I have pins that have been repinned and liked hundreds of times.

    pinterest is awesome for driving traffic for certain niches. Like Jcedric, many people earn thousands due to the traffic pinterest gets them. If you have good boards with awesome pins people would follow you, and they'll pay attention to what you're offering.
