Personally, I think the best would be Facebook and Instagram. Those two social media platforms are the most visual out of the two. I think that a clothing website needs a visual platform to be able to post photos and videos which are very important in the clothing business.

      Pinterest. Facebook. Twitter.

Facebook can work if you can integrate your product images with your Facebook business page and if you have a decent amount of followers and engagement.

I would suggest boards on Pinterest first, then Facebook to work on building a community and sharing images as you post them on Pinterest.

Then posting images on Twitter with congruent (not duplicated content) posts on Facebook

    If it's female clothing: Pinterest.

But . . . use all the social networks.

I believe Facebook and Instagram offer great visibility, but Pinterest and Tumblr will help you market and sort out your clothing line in the most effective way, thanks to boards and categories.

Facebook is the best medium. People are quite inclined to interact with Fashion brands on Facebook and you can garner a lot of engagement on FB provided if your content is good and visually compelling.
Secondly, instagram, pinterest are also good secondary options for you.

I would say Facebook is the best way to go, but you could also try out Instagram and Pinterest, they're quite popular right now, and the more exposure you have, the better

Instagram is good because you can get a lot of free traffic if you get images right. Don't just upload pics of clothes, be creative and post them in different settings. Also don't forget Facebook, It's one of THE most important social media platforms that you can build your brand on.

pinterest is another good option that you can use to reach other women.

Yeah, there are a few ways to make sales on Facebook. If you want an ecommerce platform that's a little different from the rest, try Soldsie.

You can also share your posts in Groups (not pages) where people with similar interests exist. People who stumbled upon it may end up following your page if it has interesting content.

FB - build your page with shareable images and video and entice people to like your page with special events only for your Facebook likes. Instagram is also good for visuals and expanding your reach, use Twitter to remind people of events, new arrivals, almost sold outs, and drive all that traffic back to your website where you should offer an incentive to sign-up for your fashion insider newsletter. Then you'll have social media covered + your own list to generate sales. Cross-promo with a compatible not competitive business's facebook page to build your social community. Also, don't forget when you go to Market to use that trip as a way for your customers to feel like they are "in the know" of the styles and colors coming next season and beyond. Shoot short videos of you commenting on an item or a color or a style trend you've spotted. Also shoot video of new arrivals coming out of the box...people love to be the first to know and the first to wear a new style. Keep the fresh content flowing and your community will build your business around you.

There are tons of clothing shops on Instagram. Start by searching hashtag #outfits or #tweens and you will see loads of people promoting their clothing lines. Loads of small shops can be found under these hashtags. Get creative and search anything you can think of relating to clothes or outfits.
