Need advice on how to set up an effective linkedin profile...

What would you recommend as a cheat sheet for setting up an effective LI profile?

As I understand it, the "usual" (boring) profile is more of a dry resume style.
But it's more effective (generates more actual sales), when the profile is more geared towards sales (without being TOO "sales-y").

I want more info about that kind of profile.
I wanna get the right info, but not *too much* info.
That's why I really want a pretty simple "cheat sheet."

Please advise.

    Yep I rank number one on all of linkedin for Search Engine Optimization
    So here is my advice was just letting you know that this is advice from a real linkedin expert
    replace the search keywords with your niche area of expertise
    ie
    look at the top 10 or 20 profiles and see what they have done
    You do however need endorsements and connectivity to out rank people like me.
    Last check I had 30 000 endorsements and 12 000+ connections
    I am a linkedin guru.........lol

    For starters, I recommend you to create a "cool" headline, instead of your current job title.

    You can also get creative while adding details to your previous experience and education section.

    And don't forget to go through the basics!

    At first, you have to choose your niche wisely to walk through LinkedIn marketing. After selecting your potential niche then you can, setup your profile. Describe yourself or service briefly and add niche targeted peoples to your connection. I'm doing LinkedIn marketing since 2012 and getting a good numbers of sales every month.
