I'd be inclined to connect with people in your industry first before overdoing the group membership.

The maximum number of LinkedIn Groups you can join is 50. You can join all 50 in one day, it's OK. If you're not a member of any group yet, your requests to join groups that normally accept new members automatically will be pending. So get accepted to 5-10 groups first. I'm not sure when exactly you can send the same post to the same group again safely. You can't share the same link to multiple groups, you're at the risk of getting SWAMM'd if you do it. But there's a workaround if you use social bookmarking sites. Submit your blog post url to 50 sites, grab their links and then drop them to groups - 1 unique domain per 1 LinkedIn group. For example you curate your blog post on Scoop.it, then grab the Scoop.it post url and drop it to a LinkedIn group.

It has to be professional first of all. Out of all the social media, this is the most matured business networking site where the real business people go.

LinkedIn is all about giving back to the community. Connect with other people in your nice. Edorse and recommend them they'll do the same for you.

I am not sure on exactly how many you can join in a day, but engaging in those groups is better than just joining them. Talk to people, share insights, find opportunities, and get to know people.

LinkedIn in not like Twitter or Facebook. It is a network of professionals so the techniques that you use on Twitter or Facebook are not going to work on LinkedIn.

As for your other question. I wouldn't advise you to do that. Don't post the same content again and again on different days. Post useful content, and unique content. People won't like you if they think you're spamming the group.

Share as much unique content you can provide. Remember the focus is on quality more than quantity.

I would only post to groups every 2 or 3 days depending on how active the group is.
Contribute to the group by answering questions.
To often people sign up with linkedin and start blasting posts without interacting first.
This might work well if you are using multiple accounts hidden using proxies.
Post to linkedin itself add a nice image and use the right keywords.

    Please add me on linkedin
    au.linkedin.com/in/rightaction
I have around 13 000 connections and 30 000 endorsements so I might know something

May I ask how do you monetize your connections?

Because I rank number one for search engine optimization and other major terms the client comes to me also my connections refer clients.
    Then I provide the service
Services such as setting up ppc campaigns, web development, seo, setting up google+ accounts and establishing them and I outsource other services.
Because of the number of endorsements and connections it is seen as social proof
For adwords I have over 1000 endorsements

I did rank for numerous terms so I had to modify my profile as I was getting to many inquiries

Blasting out content to groups wont work until you have contributed to the group
How many webmasters do you think join these groups everyday just to blast out content?
Many social media plugins allow the webmaster to share their content with linkedin at best this is just for the backlinks.
