facebook ad not converting

hey all.
Im just starting to get into running ads on Facebook for click bank affiliate offers. I have an ad running at the minute for a health and weight loss product, im paying 56 cent per website click, but no one is buying the product. so what im trying to ask is there a number or ratio I should be going for say 100 people click the add and 3 actually buy it ?
also does anyone know the name of the website that picks the most converting offers ? thanks again

I think the issue here might be your sales page.
Your sales page must do the job for you and do its task which is selling your product.
Problem might not be with your ad so maybe check on your sales page!

but general rule, try to be creative with your ads, use memes, or funny material. get creative

      thanks,
but its not my sales page the ad im running links directly to the clickbank offer i'm promoting,
my add is a picture of healthy fruit and veg, the writing is pretty simple

It might not be your ad or demographics at all as they click your ad - it could be that the people clicking your ads are not convinced they should buy the product once they land on the site itself (i.e. too expensive for them to buy, not relevant enough or simply not convincing enough for them to buy it).

How about you redirect them to a different type of diet, health or fitness product and compare the conversion rate as a split-test? That's what I would do just to see if the campaign performs better by changing a few bits and pieces as split tests

56 cents...Man, it is too high! Try to test different ads and if you don`t know how to get cheaper clicks you can learn it.

yea thanks for that, im watching videos atm on how to lower the cost of clicks , i will try another product

my ad just finished running i spent 9.96 dollars for 33 website clicks and no one bought the product haha what a waste that was. im also running a boosted post today i've spent 1.57$ and have got 88 post engagements the only thing i done differently was ad the low cost countries to the audience.

i just watched a video of somebody posting amazon links to facebook posts and getting money that way, looks pretty easy granted each post was getting over 1k likes. if i could make 100 dollars a week doing that id be extremely happy

I think you should start by getting peoples emails and introducing offers through sending emails. aka List Building.
Ive had links to amazon, linkshare and clickbank ads before too and they didnt convert so well either!
