How To Increase Real Facebook Likes

Hello,

I have an instagram and twitter account for an eCommerce site that both have over 1k real followers. How I do this is search #'s that are related to my products and comment/follow users. I get about a 50% follow back rate and tons of Likes

However, on a Business Facebook page you can't search for people via Hashtags or follow people you don't know. The Likes have to come to your page

I tried promoting posts and paid $20 which in return received 12 Likes to the page.

I also joined about 20 Groups and promote posts on their but most people will like the post in the group and not go to the Facebook page and like that.

Any feedback or experience on getting Facebook rolling is much appreciated

    How did you promote your posts? Did you just boost them to your fans or did you use custom audiences? Regular boosting most of the time is a waste, where the gold is in facebook ads is highly targeted marketing.

    Also as a reference. I have two fan pages.

    One is my fan page with me as a public figure: almost 21,000 fans

    Other is a niche fan page for my main brand: Almost 27,000 fans.

    Both have good engagement for both non-promoted and promoted ads.

      Hey Jasculs,

      Thank you for your advice! I promoted a post to a custom audience that had interest in my product keywords.

      It may have been to narrow/targeted because the audience reach was estimated at 200-300

      I will try doing the Ads next and see how that works out

        Do you get a lot of visitors to your site? If so then I would also implement facebook retargeting. This is a great way to get leads that are much hotter then your average. Honestly there isn't much of a reason not to do retargeting in my opinion.

    Use the PE in Google and don't just do 'promote posts'. Try different ad combinations until you get a winner.

    Bid for post engagement and in the text copy invite your reader to like your fan page. Use a WP social plugin to create some kind of viral effect.

    I agree with TopSocialMarketing in not just doing promoted posts. There is a difference between a promoted post and an ad. With an ad that you create in power editor you have more variation and ways to grab attention. With a promoted post you don't have as much.

    I believe the way you can find hashtag on facebook is by entering this..

    Try running FACEBOOK ADS for increasing LIKES.
    Incentivize the users to LIKE your page in return for some offer/giveaway/ebook/discount etc.
    Arrange contest germane to your niche
    If targeted properly, you can ace FB Advertising to get cost per like way below 0.01$

    I have an idea how to increase your Facebook likes.
    1. Try to share your real friends on your facebook list
    2. make a dummy profile and add more friends in your area
    3. post only short and interesting articles

      To follow that last post up...you can post links above viral images with a CTA to your landing page with email opt in...

      Then buy ads ONLY targeting your fans...with the only goal to get them onto your email list...

      I've build paid well over 1 million USA followers doing this WHILE making money doing it...

      I've also used this method to build a localized business...paid about 8 cents a like, then pay about 10-20 sent for an email...i earn MUCH MUCH MUCH more then that small scale but a real business with lots of equity

    Sorry to day but most of these ideas are dumb...

    Hoping to get enough likes by invting people and asking friends is a sure fire way to fail...

    You are right about doing paid ads....I've found the most luck following this:

    - create a page with the word 'LOVE' in it 'I Love Birdwatching' for exmaple
    - target bird watching KW's in interest along with age and gender you feel best
    - use 'get more likes' ad type
    - test a bunch of ads and ad copy with a STRONG call to action for them to like the page
    - first guess is images of crazy looking birds, zoomed in...

    See the demo size...spend LOW AMOUNTS - 2-10 a day is more then enough....the lower budget will help you get a lower cost per like

    Keep testing ads until you get below 10 cent likes, aim for 3-5 cents...in the USA of course cheaper in other countries...

    Inviting people to lime your page would be a good idea. Just don't make it look desperate or spammy!
    Buying ads should work too, especially if you have a big enough budget for it.
    Also, share interesting posts! This is usually what makes people share content, which is then seen by others and eventually, people might start to like your page!
